Reading Terminal Market does not know if it will be open during Pope’s Visit

The Reading Terminal Market, located next to The Philadelphia Convention Center, has yet to determine if they will be open during the Pope’s visit. They will decide in the next couple of weeks based on the new Road Closure Map unveiled by the City of Philadelphia yesterday.

Septa will begin selling leftover Regional Rail passes next week. They are looking at selling passes at Center City stations and Regional Rail stations where we are stopping at [during the papal visit],” If that station does not have a ticket office, then we would sell the passes at the ticket office closest to that station.

Secret Service denies any responsiblity for street closures

Distancing themselves from the confusion and anxiety surrounding the Pope’s visit in September, the Secret Service is denying that they are responsible for any reports of Bridge or road closures for the Papal visit. The Secret Service will provide their logistical details in early September, and any information before then is speculation.
