They are looking at selling passes at Center City stations and Regional Rail stations where we are stopping at [during the papal visit],” If that station does not have a ticket office, then we would sell the passes at the ticket office closest to that station.

Septa said there were about 38,000 lottery slot sales on Monday. Exactly how many tickets sales that translates to is not known yet. Septa will email the lottery winners on August 6 and by August 9 all transactions will be complete.
The second time is the charm for Septa selling Regional Rail passes for use during the Pope’s visit in late September. By noon, about 14,000 transactions had been completed. Septa does not know when the website will be up and running to purchase regional rail passes for the Pope’s visit but will give the public 24 hours notice prior to going live. The tickets were a hot commodity on Monday with over 900,000 visitors vying for 350,000 tickets causing the website to crash.
Septa has suspended the sale of Regional Rail tickets on their website for now. Later today, Tuesday, July 21, they are expected to announce a new sale date.
