Artist Meg Saligman is creating grottoes of knotted ribbons near the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul for the Pope’s visit. Visitors are encouraged to write their problems on a paper ribbon and tie it to the grotto, physically leaving their problem behind. Visitors can also remove an existing ribbon to help. Meg will take her art around the city in the weeks before the Pope’s visit.
